Summer is almost here and nothing sounds better to me than an icy cold mint chocolate chip frappuccino from Starbucks! Or maybe a snow cone with red, white, and raspberry blue stripes.We as bloggers may only be able to share our desires with one another in the blogosphere , but it doesn't mean we can't reach out and share a cold drink with one another occasionally.
So drinks are on me for the first three Mondays of June!
Today I am announcing the June Bug Contest here at Zook Book Nook!
There will be a total of three contest days, each day with a different theme, and you can enter any or all of the contests. So you have three chances to win one of three prizes (a $15 Starbucks gift card with a nifty greeting on it from me).

June Bug Contest Guidelines
- Every Monday there will be a new contest with a different theme. Each theme is based on photo(s) and words.
- Read the question for the contest and submit your answer via email to zookbooknook (at) yahoo (dot) com by the following Sunday at noon EST.
- In your email please include a link to your blog.
- On the same day that you email me your contest entry please post in your blog a link to my blog announcing this contest.
- It's just me here in the Nook, so I'll be the sole judge. I'll try my best to be as objective as possible.
- Check back to my blog each Tuesday for an announcement of the winner!
- Winners keep an eye open for a $15.00 Starbucks gift card coming to you in the mail!
June Bug Contest Schedule
Below is a list of the 3 contests, their announcement dates, deadlines, and a brief description of what to expect. On the day I announce each contest there will be a more detailed list of guidelines provided for the contest.
- June 1st (Day 1): Facial Expression Identification (Deadline: June 7th) - A mix 'n match photo writing contest, starring my daughter and my attempt to describe her.
- June 8th (Day 2): If a Picture Paints a 1,000 words (or maybe just 300) (Deadline: June 14th) - Your chance to write a fiction or non-fiction piece about a photo provided by me.
- Jund 15th (Day 3): Picture This (Deadline: June 21st) - Now you pick a photo of your own and write a poem about it.

Is there a Starbucks in Germany? I've craved this drink for the last nine months and splurged yesterday since my hubby was with me and helped me drink it! I am looking forward to hosting my first contest on my blog!!
